Just feeling kinda blah lately. Not sure what it is, but I'm really tired. Slogged through three slow miles on the 'mill yesterday and just couldn't get outta bed this morning. It's even been tough keeping my eyes open at night. Deb came home from a meeting last night at 9:30 and I was practically out on the couch. Just feeling blah.
#1 son has football practice tonight -- maybe a good time for a run. Maybe get me outta the blah's.
Blah, Blah, Blah!

I got the blah's too. when #1 son does the sprints at the end of practice, you should see if you can do them too. Show them boys how to give 110%.
Kid practice was always the best time for me to run. It made the time go fast, I got to run someplace other than from home, and I got to do thefinal mile Vanity Dash on the way back - didn't want anyone pulling up to pick up their kid from practice to see me slogging it or (*GASP*) walking!
A good workout is always a way to get me out of the blahs - you might take some extra Vitamin C or whatever you use to prevent colds because exhaustion is a sure way for me to get a cold especially when they are floating around the office.
Was feeling blah and tired yesterday....not looking forward to swimming in the pool at the gym since I've been out in the lakes all summer but knew I had to do it eventually (chlorine is not my friend) and had a GREAT swim - definitely got me out of the blahs.
i heard someone say once (eh... probably read it!) that you never feel WORSE for working out, so you might as well get to it.
good advice. then i read on this on alwyn cosgrove's blog the other day: "Anyone can train hard when they feel like it. But the difference in results comes with the less-than-spectacular workouts - the "punch the clock" workouts.
" Not all workouts have to look like a scene from "Pumping Iron." In fact, I often argue that these moderate workouts...the punch the clock workouts...are the ones that make champions. Hell, everyone is willing to work hard the week of the State Championship: I think what separates champions is the willingness to just get "them"...the workouts...in."

Consistency is a major key to success in any area."
sometimes, you just have to punch the clock and move on to another day!
A good run got me out of my case of the crankies last night...so maybe it will help your blahs???? :P
Your Aunt Debbie and I run 2 miles about 4 times a week. Some days I feel like a Nigerian marathoner and some days (more often than not) I feel like the 60-year-old that I am. Just gotta run through it. Keep up the great work and don't get discouraged. Even if you have a less-than-satisfactory workout, at least you got out and did something. Rock on. UR
must be in the air because I have the blah's too. I did do a nice run tonight and I think that helped but I have been LAZY lately. Nice to hear I'm not the only one.
