You dog you.....That bike is SWEET. You will not believe the difference in how easy that bike is to ride. You will be able to go for miles and miles after you get your bike fitness up. It seems hard at first, but keep it up and all of a sudden it gets pretty easy and then it turns really fun.
Ok, now I have bike envy too. Excellent ride - you made a great choice. I have been drooling over the new Trek Madones.
Yes, so psyched. Looked at a Trek 1500, but it was more than I wanted to spend. They hooked me up with this and sent me out the door for a test drive. "Take as long as you want." I was sold in like 2 minutes. So smooth a ride.Yeah, I saw the Madone, but didn't dare go near one for fear I might knock it over and have to pay for it. As the guy at the store said to me: "The more you pay, the less you get." What's up with that?
Jeff, that's such a great choice for a first serious bike: plush and well-equiped. Good luck with it!
Very nice Bike Jeff. I think Lance will like it.
